About The RAP Framework

Developing a meaningful Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) requires structured planning, organizational commitment, and measurable action. The RAP Framework equips organizations to move beyond early-stage reflection by translating foundational understanding into measurable commitments, actions, timelines, and indicators. Through practical planning tools, assessments, and implementation resources, organizations can identify priorities, strengthen internal systems, and establish meaningful reconciliation outcomes.

Organized into eight interconnected implementation components, the RAP Framework guides organizations through assessment, planning, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement. Together, these components provide a practical, evidence-based framework for developing, implementing, and sustaining a distinctions-based RAP.

The RAP Framework includes:

• The RAP Development & Implementation Framework (Build Phase) (PDF)

This Framework builds directly on the foundations established in the Explore Phase, offering the next level of structure, depth, and implementation support required to bring a RAP to life.
